4. Contracts and Ordering Procedure
4.1 By filling in the order form on our website and sending it to us you are entering into a binding contract with us. You start your order by clicking on 'Add to basket' and filling in all required information in the order form.

4.2 Upon receipt of your order, we will send an order confirmation email to you with the details of your order. Please note that our order confirmation does not constitute a declaration of acceptance of your order.

4.3 The contract of sale becomes effective only after Swan and the people has sent the products. Ownership of goods will not be fulfilled until the corresponding obligations of the buyer are fulfilled. At the time of transfer of ownership, product liability is transferred to the buyer.

4.4 You accept that Swan and the people may cancel an order after you have placed it. Swan and the people will inform you in writing of the reason for the cancellation of this order and if possible try to still realize the order only with extended shipping time if you agree.

5. Returns
5.1. We accept returns of products ordered by the website within 14 days of purchase. Returns will only be accepted in their original condition. Without being washed or worn and no visible damage to the clothing. Clothing may be altered to see if it fits. Swan and the people may ask the customer what was the reason for returning the product. The customer is not obliged to answer.

5.2. Always include the order number and your name with the product you are returning. Otherwise, it is not possible for us to provide a refund.

6. Prices
6.1. Our prices are inclusive of VAT.

7. Payment
7.1. Customers can pay electronically at Swan and the people by using IDEAL, PAYPAL or Bancontact. Shipping of the ordered product takes place as soon as Swan and the people has received the payment.

7.2. The customer is obliged to immediately report inaccuracies in payment information provided or stated to Swan and the people.

8. Shipping and delivery
8.1. After payment is received in our system, your order will be shipped. 

8.2. Shipping within the Netherlands and Belgium is free of charge. Shipping costs outside the Netherlands and Belgium depend on the country it needs to be sent to. Please contact Swan and the people at ask@swanandthepeople.com.

8.3. Your order will be delivered within 2-10 business days.
